I am a huge gadget freak. From the HomeWizard home automation system to the WMe wristband, I have it or at least tried it.

A customer is working according to the DTAP principle. There is a development, test, acceptance and production environment. The customer wants to quickly identify the environment based on background colors.

In the last week before the Christmas holidays the bi-annual RSVP (RES Software Valued Professional) meeting was held at the RES Software HQ. As a proud RSVP member I was also invited and I had the honors to give a small presentation about the BuildingBlock Wizard, see one of my next posts on my blog.

2013 has been a very exciting year and if the signs are right, 2014 will be even better!

I am very surprised how many people don’t know this fantastic small tool. It is standard Windows functionality since Windows 7 and if you need to report a bug or document installation or configuration steps, this tool is a ‘must-have’. I am talking about the (Problem) Steps Recorder, PSR.EXE

Last week I attended the annual RES Software Certified Trainers (RCT) meeting at RES Software in ‘s Hertogenbosch/Netherlands. All RES Software Certified Trainers meet and discuss topic like training materials, exams, what’s new in software products and other stuff. It is also a bit a social event, good to see the crew at RES Software again and meet other trainers.

Proudly I present to you the new MarcelVenema.com website, as a successor of my old W-TECH.NET site. The MarcelVenema.com website will act as my personal website, with hopefully lots of information, blogs and other useful stuff for my fellow friends and colleagues....
